Well the time has finally come for me to get my eyes done! I’m getting Lasik on Thursday and I CANNOT WAIT! I did some obsessive research and talked it to death and I finally decided to go with Hoopes and get IntraLase. Hoopes costs more and I feel like you are paying for their advertising and hoop-la (no pun intended hahahaha) but I was able to get a Groupon to save a lot of money from Hoopes which made the price the same as other places I had looked at.
I feel like I made a good decision and we will know for sure after Thursday afternoon! I can’t even imagine what it will be like to wake up in the morning and SEE. I’m so totally blind that it will completely change my life. I can’t wait to get this done and enjoy my new eyes! Our trip to Puerto Rico will be awesome for so many reasons and not worrying about contacts or glasses will make it even better!

I'm so excited for you, Hays! I'll never forget the day I took you to the eye dr. because you said you couldn't see and found out that you really COULDN'T SEE! I thought you were just copying Lexie but boy, was I wrong. What a bad mama, huh? Anyway, it will be so great to wake up on Friday and be able to see! Love you!

ps-will they do your eyebrows like the picture too? (not that there's anything wrong with your eyebrows, but those look awesome, huh? ) For all the $$$ you're spending it's the least they could do, don'tcha think?
