4th of July

The fourth of July was a blast, as usual. I had the 3rd off so we went boating! Dan's dad took us with his brother and his family. I had tons of fun with the cute kids and we all had fun on the tube. We didn't even get out the wakeboard or skis because the tube was so fun! We got a lot of fun and the weather was perfect and there was hardly anyone there! The 4th was great, and we had breakfast in the canyon, then went swimming in the afternoon, and had a bbq with my family and then did fireworks with Dan's family! It was busy but great. Our sweet supply of fireworks. I tried everything to make this picture not sideways! Stupid blogger....

Summer fun

We have had such a great summer so far. Even though it took awhile to finally warm up and stop raining, it has been fun! My job is going great and I love it! I'm so blessed to have a cool job that I like to do! Last week we drove down to Bountiful for Danny's grandpa's birthday party at his aunt's house. It was really fun to see everyone and we had a delicious dinner! Gathering around the food of course!

This is Grandpa's awesome hot dog cake made by the amazing Julie! The hot dog part of it is all fondant! She is incredible!

We went to a Real Salt Lake game with Dustin and Kaley and we had a ton of fun. We were right in the sun until the very end so we just cooked, but we still loved it! Real won by a lot and it's always fun to go with Dustin because he screams a lot. :)

Jackson Hole

So we went to Jackson Hole this weekend and we had a blast. Dan's brother Mike, manages a whitewater company up there and my sister is working for another whitewater company there! So we went up on Friday evening and staying until Sunday evening. The weather was nice but still a little chilly and rainy, but we got to stay in Mike's sweet trailor so that was great! We went down the river and Mike hooked us up with wet suits and gear to keep us warm! I was so grateful for that and it made the river ride even better! I also got to hang out with my sister which was so fun and overall, we just had a good time. It's so gorgeous up there and Dan just daydreams about it all day. If I would, he would just pack up and move up there and live in a tent by the river all summer! But....that's not really going to happen so we'll just have to settle for visiting this summer! We didn't take a ton of pics but here are some fun pictures of the trip.

It started pouring rain right after we started the hike so we took cover under some pine trees for awhile and watched the storm. It was so neat to be in the forest and listen to the rain and watch the lightning and hear the loud thunder!

Mike and Rachel's tree wasn't working so well so they took cover with us under our tree!

We were finally able to go to Mark & Carrie's house over Memorial Day weekend in Idaho. We haven't been able to go the past few years. It was a blast. Taylor was sleeping and he likes to be upside down!

We went for a Sunday drive and played around at a reservoir with the kids. I just love this cute little doll.

This is some pictures of the Goates family reunion yesterday. We went to a park and mostly just played with the kids of course! We had fun swinging and going down the slides at the park.

We had our one year anniversary on May 20th. It was my 3rd day of my new job and we had just gotten back from California so we had a nice quiet night at home. We grilled some yummy steaks then went out for ice cream afterwards. Dan bought me these gorgeous flowers! This is what i saw when i came home from work. He's so funny and cute! I love him!
