October fun

Well I don't post a whole lot anymore for two reasons: 1. I am really busy 2. We don't do anything cool. Haha, we still do fun stuff, but not like we did all summer, so there isn't a whole lot to say. But we are both super busy with work and school. The semester is almost over, I can't believe it! Then only one more semester and I'll be graduated! Woo hoo! Here are a few pics of what we've been doing the past few weeks. We also went to Park City over fall break 2 weekends ago, but sadly, I didn't take any pics! I don't know why I didn't, but we had a great time. We went shopping at the outlets and got clothes, went to dinner, and just chilled for a few days. It was great.
Pumpkin carving adventures. We carved a cute little pumpkin for family home evening. This is my favorite picture. Danny thinks it's funny to randomly do weird things with his hair, like part it on the side, or brush out his curls. He comes out looking something like this, and I think it's hilarious! He is so funny and this picture sums it all up.

We went to Odyssey Dance's production of Thriller up here at USU with some friends. I have gone for years and I love it. It was a blast and put us in the Halloween mood!

Pictures from a 6 year old

So Dan's little niece, Katelyn learned how to use my camera when we were at his parent's house for his birthday. For some reason, I didn't really care that she took it all over the house and yard taking pictures. I wasn't too worried about it! Anyway, she took a bajillion pictures, but they were so cute and funny! I wanted to post some of the pics she took. She managed to get everyone to smile really cute, genuine smiles! I love it! This is definitely my favorite. She placed me and told me exactly what to do for this shot.

Birthday time!

October is birthday month for us! Dan is almost a month older than me and his birthday is on the 5th and mine is the 31st! I love birthdays! We celebrated Dan's with our families. Here are some pics.Eating yummy birthday cake made by Debbie (I don't make cake, but I did make cookies! :))

Presents! Being married is great! He got presents from my family, from me, and from his family!

Of course all he wanted and mostly all he got was camping/climbing stuff! But he was happy!

It was also Dan's niece's Sarah's birthday. We got her a purple dress and bracelets and Julie got her a purple purse and necklace! It was so cute when she put it all on!
Debbie and Marty got her a cute little doll and she loved it!

The Roof

Saturday night Dan and I drove down to Salt Lake with his sister and brother-in-law to meet the family for dinner at The Roof. Dan's dad has been stake president for a long time and recetly got released. Every time he had a bishop get released, he would take them to The Roof for dinner. Now that he is released, we took him there as a family. We had a buffet and it was so delicious! We ate tons of food and we got to sit in this great room with a gorgeous view. It was a really fun evening. Some views from the room we ate in.

We're all sitting around this huge round table with beautiful views all around us.

Random pictures

Well I haven't posted for quite awhile and I apologize to all those who religiously check our blog (is that just me that does that??) Anyway, school started again so life got busier. Dan and I are both in school full time and we each work about 30 hours a week. So we don't have quite as much time to play and take pictures and I don't have as much time to blog. Tragic right? But here are some random pictures of what we've been doing the past few weeks. My parents came up for the USU vs. Utah football game. It was nice weather and a lot of fun to see them. Amazingly, USU scored first, but then went on to get slaughtered by the U. Oh well, The U was always my football team anyway.

We went rock climbing with Dan's family on Labor Day.

Here we are with Shelley and Brian cooking up some tinfoil dinners in the mountains. Yumma.

Tuesday night I drove down to Salt Lake with my friends for the So You Think You Can Dance concert tour! It was magnificent. We loved it and the dances were great. 3 of the dancers on the tour were from Utah too! I loved it!

Here are some not-so-high-quality videos of some of my favorite dances. The blonde girl is Chelsie from Orem. Pretty sweet.
