SYTYCD

Dan and I got tickets to go to the So You Think You Can Dance Tour several months ago. I have been able to go to the concert the last 3 years and I love it every year! We went with Dustin and Kaley and we had a blast.
At the show. For some reason I didn't take any pictures of the actual dancers. Probably because I was enjoying it so much! They did all or most of my favorite dances and I loved it!

This is yet another one of Dan's cute little hair styles he busts out for me every night. I helped me with the pony tail, but I was laughing so hard I thought I would lose it. He hasn't cut his hair forever, and even though I love his cute curls, I'm definitely ready for him to get a trim! Hopefully soon!
Last but not least, we closed on the house last night! Woo hoo! We get the keys tomorrow and then the real fun begins! This whole home buying process has been so stressful and crazy and the last few weeks have especially been hard. But it will all be worth it I'm sure, and we can't wait to move into our new house! We're going to paint Friday and Saturday then move in throughout the week and be all settled by next weekend! We can't wait!!

Fun Fall Festivities

So this fall has been really great. I've loved not being in school and having more time to do things I enjoy and not stress over school so much. Dan has been working really hard to do well in school and we have been having a good time. I love the fall weather and we have a great park right by our apartment that we walk and run at a lot. We went over there on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago and had lunch and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and colors.Dan is really funny and this was after our walk, on the way home.
Pretty leaves!

I love fall so much I'm leaping with joy!
This is a little weird...I was walking at the park one day awhile ago and I saw this big group of people dressed up in medieval-type clothes and they were battling each other with padded swords, shields and bow and arrows! It was so crazy, but I didn't have my camera! When we had lunch at the park awhile later, I saw this poster! Sweeeeet.
I went with Shelley and her sister Haley and her girls to the Witches Night Out at Gardner Village. It was the first time for all of us and we had tons of fun. We didn't really go all out, but we definitely want to next year! So many women were there and the atmosphere was just really fun. Afterards, we went and made caramel apples with heath bars! So yummy!
Me and Laney.

We also went up to Logan to visit Shell and Brian and Thad! I love this sweet little boy!

Hween Birthday!

Well I had my big 23rd birthday on Halloween (best day for a birthday ever!). It was a super fantastic day and I just had a blast. I dressed up for work as a witch on the 30th. Of course I was the only one dressed up in my whole department because I work with a bunch of old guys who are party poopers. Haha, but they loved that I was dressed up and it was still really fun because a lot of other people in the company were dressed up. It's just a fun day!

On my actual birthday, Dan sang to me about a million times throughout the day and we had breakfast together then opened presents! We went to West Jordan and went fridge shopping! Very exciting :). But we found a good deal on a fridge so yay! We went to my parent's house and opened presents there as well. Then we all went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory! YUMMA! My sister was able to come from Cedar City so I was really happy about that! We had a delicious dinner and I got some incredible Godiva chocolate cheesecake! And the best part was that I had leftovers for Sunday!

We went trick-or-treating with our nieces in South Jordan and that's always fun. I think holidays are so much fun with kids around. They make things so fun and their excitement is contagious! I love it and I love all my nieces and nephews and I love doing fun things with them whenever we can. The rest of the evening was spent with my family! A busy, but wonderful day!
My witch costume and Dan as....nothing? He's not big on dressing up but I'm sure we'll have coordinating outfits one year if we go to a party or something!
Sarah admiring (and scarfing) all her yummy Halloween candy!
Me and the kiddos before we left to go trick-or-treating. Emily was a warrior and ran everywhere! They were out late and got loads of candy!
Me and Ryan (a cute little bumblebee).
Steph and I at Cheesecake Factory.

My super awesome cheesecake! It was so freakin' good. So what if they spelled my name wrong? No biggie. :)

When I came home from work on Friday, there were a dozen beautiful roses waiting for me at home! Dan is a sweetie and did great on my presents this year. I can't wait to spend all the money I got from him and my parents for house stuff and clothes!

Update

Well Dan requested that I post some house pictures individually because it's hard to see them the way I had them in the collages. So here are a few individual pics! The view from the front door. To the left is the living room, to the right is a closet, and the stairs. Straight ahead and to the right is the family room and straight to the left is the kitchen/dining room. Below is a view from the stairs looking at the front door.

The master bathroom. I love the double sinks and soaker tub! YAY!
Big master bedroom with sweet vaulted ceilings and a huge walk-in closet!
My favorite part of the house is the kitchen. It's goregous and I love to cook and bake so this will be awesome!
The kitchen is behind me in this picture so it's really cool how the family room/dining room/kitchen are all open. There are also 2 pantries, one you can see below on the right and one right in the kitchen. There is also a desk area on the bottom pic on the right.
Kitchen/dining room area. I'm standing in the family room in the pic below.
There is also a nice laundry room and the yard is big! There are a total of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, laundry, and living room. There is also a big unfinished basement. We're so excited and can't wait to move. It's scary but exciting! It took a month to get an approval, but now things are flying and we could be closing next week! Very cool! I forgot to mention that the house is in West Point, which is west of Clearfield. Dan says it's beachfront property because it's pretty close to the great salt lake! But we really like the area and the neighborhood is great. Thanks for all the nice comments!

New House pics

Well we finally got the good news that our offer was approved and we got the house! It has taken a month since we put in the offer and about 3 months since we started looking. 30 days is a long time to wait for an approval, but since it was a short sale home, that is extremely common (it usually takes even longer). But we're so stinkin' excited and can't wait to move in! Everything started moving really quickly and we should be closing sometime in the next 1-3 weeks! Woo hoo! Anyone who wants to help clean, paint, and move, don't hesitate to call! Haha, here are some pics of the new house! So exciting! In the master bedroom.Cutest little porch.

We got the house!!!

Pictures of our future residence coming soon....
